Baylor Scott & White Health Plan: Agent Update

Baylor Scott & White Health Plan has announced it will exit the Texas Medicaid Managed Care Program effective August 31, 2026, and will discontinue individual ACA marketplace plans after December 31, 2026. This change applies only to members currently enrolled in Baylor Scott & White Health Plan coverage.

Approximately 225,000 Texans will need to transition to new Medicaid or marketplace carriers. Baylor Scott & White medical providers will continue to accept other Medicaid and marketplace plans, so continuity of care may still be available depending on the carrier selected. Additional communication to impacted members is expected following regulatory approval.
